Our Instructors Make the Difference!

Many of the instructors working at Davina’s Swim House have been swim instructors for several years. With the majority of instructors having worked with Davina for quite some time they are more than proficient in teaching the Davina Swim House approach to swimming. As such, their knowledge of the Davina’s Swim House facilities and methods are essential in allowing participants of the Davina swim house program to quickly become capable swimmers. Davina also believes that being in close contact with her staff and holding frequent training sessions makes the difference in producing excellent swim instructors.

Your Children Are Always Safe With Us

All of the Davina Swim House staff are required to go through rigorous training exercises before being able to teach at the swim school. They also must hold instructor, national lifesaving society and standard first aid certifications to teach at Davina’s. Once these training simulations have been completed to a heightened proficiency Davina checks to make sure their certifications are continuously maintained and up-to-date. In doing so, it ensures that those who she has employed are properly qualified and have demonstrated an ability follow the system set in place by Davina and Geovanny.

Top Facilities Always Kept In Top Condition

The Davina Swim House facilities are constantly maintained by a variety of personnel. Locations which are being leased from the Toronto District School Boards are maintained by the facility operators at each location. These individuals have been working with the Toronto District School Board for many years and are trained and are fully aware of how to maintain the cleanliness of both the pool and the change rooms. The Davina Swim House South and North locations are kept extremely clean. These locations are cleaned with disinfectant at the beginning and end of each day to ensure the sanitation of the facility is sustained. Additionally, the pool is vacuumed and the deck area is cleaned frequently to remove all of the debris tracked into the pool and deck by our swimmers.
